Non Transportable Items

Due to the risk factor associated in transporting volatile items we suggest the following items are omitted from your shipments:

Hazardous items (corrosive, explosive or flammable)

  • Aerosols – Ammonia – Ammunition
  • Car batteries – Charcoal – Chemistry sets – Cleaning agents
  • Fertilizer – Fireworks
  • Gas canisters - Gasoline (petrol or diesel)
  • Lighters - Lighter fluid – Loaded firearms
  • Matches – Motor oil
  • Paint thinners
  • Nail polish removers
  • Paint – Pesticide – Poison – Pool chemicals – Propane tanks
  • Weed killers

Any mechanical equipment using fuel of any kind must be fully cleaned and drained before moving day. If your motor vehicle (car or motorbike) is being transported with your shipment please ensure that you have minimum fuel within the vehicle.

Perishable items (food products, living organisms, etc.)

  • Fresh or frozen food products
  • Plants
  • Dry foods (opened packages)

Non-recommended items

  • Weapons, guns, etc.
  • Drugs, medicines, etc.
  • Money (cash)
  • Important paperwork (deeds, wills)
  • Valuable jewelry

Certain items depending on the destination country may impose duties and taxes i.e. alcohol (including wine). In some other cases certain dry foods are not admissible such as herbs, spices, canned foods, etc. In many countries, outdoor items such as pots, bicycles, furniture, etc. must be free of dirt so we suggest that this is arranged prior to your move. In the event that you wish to transport any of these goods you must notify Celebrity in order for us to take the necessary actions involved. These issues are also discussed during the pre-move survey by our experienced move consultants.
